Sea Kayaking in Halkidiki
Dicover the sandy beaches, island clusters and hidden coves of Halkidiki by sea kayak

Join us for a unique sea kayaking experience in the turquoise waters of Halkidiki.
Halikidiki is a real paradise for sea kayaking. Generally the area has very calm and warm waters and offers a variety of sea kayaking options, and excursions along the coast.
Choose from one of the sea kayaking tours listed below, in order to explore the small secluded beaches, islets and caves hidden along the coast of Halkidiki:
Option A: Kryopigi (Hotel Alexander) - Harbour Glarokavos, Peninsula of Kassandra (1st Peninsula)
Start from Kryopigi (Hotel Alexander) and paddle past the white sandy beaches of Halkidiki.
On the way, we will stop for swimming and snorkeling. Continue to Pefkohori the most touristic beach of Kassandra, where we will stop again for swimming and a light lunch. Continue to Glarokavos, where our tour will end.
Our tour ends at the port of Glarokavos near the village of Pefkohori.

Option B: Panagia Bay – Beach Karydi, Peninsula of Sithonia (2nd Peninsula)
Start today’s sea kayaking tour at the bay of Panagia. Along the way you will see sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches and secluded bays that can only be reached by sea. After exploring a cluster of small islands, we will stop for a swim at the island of Diaporos, opposite Vourvourou. The calm, turquoise waters of Diaporos island as well as its green vegetation and deserted beaches, remind you of the Caribbean. After a short break, continue to the beautiful beach of Vourvourou, where you will stop for lunch and a swim. Today’s tour ends at Karydi Beach.

Option C: Ouranoupoli - Ammouliani Island, Peninsula of Athos (3rd Peninsula)
Today you will enjoy a circular route around the island of Ammouliani. You will start from just outside the harbour of Ouranoupoli and paddle towards the island of Ammouliani, passing by many small islets. At the island, stop for a swim and relaxation, and enjoy a light lunch. Return from the north side of the island and finish the tour at the port of Ouranoupoli.

Duration of activity: 2 hours
Level of difficulty: Easy - Moderate (for the crossing)
Length of route: 5.5 nm (nautical miles)
