Trekking in the National Park of Mt.Parnitha

Mt. Parnitha is the closest mountain to Athens, and the only National Park in Europe so close to a capital (40km). The National Park of Parnitha hides many secrets that few people know. So close to the city of Athens find refuge 42 mammals among them deers, foxes and many kinds of birds. There are numerous hiking trails in the mountain of varied difficulty that are suitable for every hiker.

Option 1: Athens - Parnitha
You will meet your bus driver at the lobby of your hotel at the meeting time. Drive to Mt. Parnitha, meet your English speaking guide and start your adventure.

Option 2: Cablecar
You will meet your  English speaking guide at the parking of the cablecar at the foot of Mt Parnitha use it to go up and start your hike from there.

Equipment Needed:
Hiking shoes or sneakers, backpack with bottled water, comfortable clothes, a long sleeved t- shirt is recommended, sun block, sunglasses and a hat.

1-3 participants: 40€
4-8 participants: 27€
