Ever since mythical sailor-explorer Odysseus set sail from his home island Ithaca to embark on his fantastic series of adventures, the Ionian Sea has held an irresistible fascination for seafarers... It is easy to see why. Set in crystal-clear waters, dozens of islands extend from uninhabited sand beaches to forested mountains rearing high out of the ocean.
Apart from the discovery of superb beaches, hidden caves and several uninhabited islets in the Ionian Sea, you will have the opportunity to relax in picturesque tiny fish ports, taste local delicacies and fresh fish that fishermen bring every morning to the jetties, walk amongst olive groves in the islands interior.
Most of our programs run from our base in the island of Lefkada, strategically located in the middle of the Ionian sea and in proximity to Kefalonia, Ithaka and numerous smaller islets like Kastos, Atokos and world famous Scorpio.
Transportation to the Ionian Islands:
Our tours start from Lefkada island which is strategically located in the middle of the Ionian Sea and in proximity to the mainland. During summertime there are charted flights arriving to Aktio airport (Preveza) very close to Lefkada which is connected to the mainland. If you arrive in Athens you can drive to Lefkada or travel by public bus (about 4-5 hours drive).
