The Cyclades is a Greek island group in the Aegean Sea, southeast of mainland Greece. The name refers to the islands around (kyklos), the sacred island of Delos. The typical whitewashed houses, narrow paved streets with Bougainvilleas, windmills, cats, sea front cafes and taverns with octopuses drying in the sun are some of the typical pictures you will come across. With Mykonos and Santorini dominating the touristic traffic, the rest of the islands maintain still a lot of their authenticity and hide countless gems, to be explored and discovered by travelers. The list of where to go and what to do is endless with biking and hiking trails offering amazing views to the Aegean, unlimited water fun whether it is sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling…, historical sites (Ancient Thira, Delos), cultural festivities, tradition and gastronomical surprises.
