This is a tour especially designed for cruise passangers approaching Itea port. We know tha you must visit the archaeological site of Delphi but you are also looking for a less touristy and more authentic experience. Here is a tour for you !

Our team will meet you at the port of Itea and drive you to Delphi ancient sanctuary. We will visit the archaeological site with a professional guide (as time is limited we recommend to skip the museum and focus just on the exterior). Then we will drive to Chrisso village. Located between Arahova and Itea, and just 7 kms from Delphi, the village of Chrisso rewards you with a magnificent view towards the olive groves of Amfissa and the Corinthian Gulf. The modern village sits north of the ancient town of Crissa, a powerful city-state of ancient Greece which gave its name to the Crissaean plain and the Crissaean gulf, in the foothills of Mount Parnassus. This preserved village with its renovated houses is characterized by its picturesque main square with the tree, traditional stone churches (the most characteristic of which is Agios Giorgios, surrounded by the walls of Ancient Chrisas) the authentic Greek cafes. There, we will enjoy a traditional picnic with olive oil tasting and traditional cheeses at the yard of a beautiful chapel. From here starts our hike inside the olive grove leading us to a point from where we can see ruins of the prehistoric acropolis of Krissa. We then continue downhill. The route is mild between 3-4 Km’s (1,8-2,4 miles), in case any participant gets tired before our arrival point a support car will follow us  on a parallel road during our hike. About an our later our car will pick us up and drive back to the port of Kirra.
